Heavy-duty, notched disks are ideal for optimal penetration and breaking up soil prior to planting. The disk gang angle can be adjusted depending on the amount of tillage desired.

Custom-designed, electric Versa Seeder

The custom-designed, electric Versa Seeder brush of the Versa Seeding System™ allows for the planting of multiple seed sizes. This innovative brush allows the operator to apply multiple seed sizes and provides a seeder that delivers under any condition.

Virtually any type of seed can be planted, from native grasses to corn. Versa Seeder dispenses directly behind the area just cultivated rather than broadcasting the seed in areas not intended for planting, reducing costly seed loss.

The cultipacker has dual uses. Once the seed hits the ground, the flexible metal grating drag levels the soil and also covers the seed for uniform soil contact.

The operator may choose between three covering options:

• Standard drag only (image shown with optional roller)
• Optional roller only (with the standard drag rolled up)
• Drag with optional roller on top to improve seed-to-soil contact

The variety of covering options ensures good soil-to-seed contact, which greatly improves seed germination.

The FP22 Series Food Plot Seeders have the following S-tine attachments available for superb tilling results:

1. Standard-equipped 22.9-cm (9-in.) sweep points work best for final leveling of the seedbed and repeat food plots.
2. Turning tips help prepare seedbeds that need residue buried, and can be ordered through service parts.
3. Chisel points are excellent for dry or rocky soil applications, and can be ordered through service parts.

NOTE: Back-row S-tines are standard and front-row S-tines are optional on Frontier™ FP2204, FP2206 or FP2208 Food Plot Seeders. FP2204L has a single tillage shank in the center used as a middle breaker for the front disks.

Heavy-duty electric lift system is standard on the FP2204P

With the heavy-duty electric lift system, the pneumatic tires make the pull-type FP Series Food Plot Seeders easy to transport virtually anywhere.

They retract electrically with the push of a button when the producer is ready to cultivate or plant.

Set the angle of dispersion

Adjustable scatter plates allow the operator to set the angle of dispersion. 

This cost-saving feature provides accurate seed placement, reducing seed cost by placing seed only where it is wanted.
